Group Training and Therapy by Dr. Ron Federici, Clinical Neuropsychologist

To All of My Families,
I have had huge requests by all of my families and relatives to conduct "group training and therapy" for those parents having difficult children. Given that most all of you have adopted children with complex issues I am willing to arrange an eight week "Intensive Group Training" for 8-10 parents (16-20 people max) per evening to cover topics as follows:
A. Using your Neuropsychological Evaluation for treatment purposes
B. Intensive Family Stabilization and Behavioral Interventions
C. Use of "Reality Therapy" and restructuring the family for those having very disturbed children
D. Establishing safety in the home, intense structure, limit setting, and reinforcement schedules
E. Teaching parents to avoid "burnout" and develop healthy and objective parenting strategies
F. Teach how to work through the educational system for more services
G. Hopefully, join local families together to exchange ideas/mutual support and respite care
H. Properly sort out medication issues
I. Talk to those families interested in additional adoptions through our Independent Adoption Project which is going great
The cost for an eight week training program (probably Wednesday or Thursday evening from 6-9PM) would be $750 per couple. This is for 24 hours of training so the cost is very reasonable compared to other groups that are charging $500 for four weeks.
Please let me know your interest.
